Closer Look at the Air Jordan 1 Low OG "Shattered Backboard"
Targeting a release towards the end of August 2021.
Jordan Brand is readying a handsome batch of retro releases for the month of August, and one silhouette that’s gearing up to drop in two striking colorways in the Air Jordan 1 Low. First up at bat is the highly anticipated three-way collaboration between Travis Scott and fragment design as well as the Air Jordan 1 Low OG “Shattered Backboard”, the latter of which has just emerged by way of detailed imagery.
Based off its namesake, it’s clear that this impending installment is a nod to the famed Air Jordan 1 “Shattered Backboard” series, more specifically the “Reverse Shattered Backboard” makeup that dropped back in 2016. The low-cut variation bears premium leather upper constructions that color-blocks between stark white hues take shape on the toe boxes, quarters nylon tongues while electrifying hits of orange tumble onto the interior liners and overlays. Solid black notes also touch down on the side Swooshes, laces and ball-and-wings logos on the heels and the tongue’s Nike Air branding is presented with orange backgrounds and white font. Down below, the midsoles are seen with angelic midsoles and come rounded out with vibrant treading.
Early reports have these scheduled to drop on August 26 in men’s women’s and grade school sizes via Nike and other retailers.
In case you missed it, more images of the Air Jordan 1 High “Atmosphere” have surfaced.
