New Balance 57/40 "Green/Rain Cloud" is Available Now
These are a good consolation prize if you couldn’t cop the Bricks & Wood collab.

New Balance has been shelling out an extensive array of new footwear products over the course of 2021, and one of its fairly new silhouettes that has hit the ground running is the 57/40. The offering — which draws from the original 574 and has been upgraded with chunkier midsole units and abstract overlays — has just released in a fresh “Green/Rain Cloud” palette.
Based off of the color schemes that are brought to the table on this GR makeup, they certainly evoke emotions of the model’s collaboration with Bricks & Wood that released back earlier in May. Upper constructions which arrive as a blend of mesh underlays and overlapping suede paneling are drenched with a bold green hue. Smaller notes of “Rain Cloud” bring in some neutral contrasting and are positioned on the side “N’ logos and higher sections of the heels. Solid black accents also show face on the interior lining and New Balance branding atop the tongues.
Shifting the focus downwards, the double-stacked midsole units alternate between a creamy layer up top and a white section underneath, while the treading brings its entire look together with a stealthy finish.
You can head over to New Balance right now to pick up a pair for $100 USD.
