New Balance has expanded its retro running catalog with the official reveal of the New Balance 740 “Green/Orange”. The upcoming release pushes the early-2000s silhouette into vibrant territory ahead of its Fall 2026 launch.
The upper is constructed with a bright green mesh base layered with black and charcoal synthetic panels across the toe, sides, and heel. Metallic orange-gold detailing covers the oversized “N” logos, side panels, and rear branding, while subtle lavender trim accents the eyestays and forefoot. Dark black laces and a protective toe bumper anchor the upper, complemented by reflective accents integrated across the design.
Underfoot, the green tone extends across a chunky ABZORB midsole, broken up by black support elements at the arch and forefoot. The outsole features black traction rubber accented by green sections and small blue inserts at the heel, while classic New Balance branding finishes the tongue, heel, insoles, and outsole.
