Summary

Lamborghini’s H1 2026 revenue grew 7.4% to €1.74 billion EUR, with operating profit hitting €395 million EUR despite a 4.6% delivery dip

High-margin custom options, resilient pricing and tight supply control successfully offset geopolitical tensions, Chinese luxury downturns and US import tariffs.

Lamborghini reported a seemingly paradoxical financial performance for the first half of 2026. The Italian automaker generated €1.74 billion EUR in revenue between January and June. This figure represents a 7.4 percent increase compared to the same period last year. Total operating profit reached €395 million EUR. Deliveries actually declined by 4.6% during this six-month window. The brand handed over 5,422 vehicles to customers globally.

Several external market factors constrained overall sales volume. Geopolitical tensions in the Middle East and a noticeable downturn in the Chinese luxury sector dampened demand in those specific regions. Increased US import tariffs introduced in 2025 further complicated the international delivery landscape. Growing economic uncertainty across the European market also played a role in the slight dip in shipped units.

Company executives attribute the revenue growth to a resilient pricing strategy and an unwavering focus on exclusivity. Managing Director and Chief Financial Officer Paolo Poma noted that adverse exchange rates and tariff penalties did not compromise the underlying strength of the Lamborghini brand. By maintaining a tight grip on supply and prioritizing high-margin custom configurations, the automaker successfully offset the lower physical output with higher per-unit profitability.

The product pipeline remains highly active as Lamborghini navigates these global headwinds. Customer deliveries for the new Temerario started in the first quarter. This rollout fully integrates the highly anticipated Huracan successor into the broader lineup. The automaker also expanded its electrified portfolio at the start of July with the introduction of the flagship Urus SE Performante. The plug-in hybrid super SUV utilizes a twin-turbocharged V8 paired with an electric motor to produce a combined 801 horsepower.

Demand for existing models continues to outpace production capacity. Order books for the V12-powered Revuelto and the standard Urus SE remain robust. Customers currently face a waiting time of approximately one year for new allocations. This sustained backlog reinforces the strategic pivot toward prioritizing brand value and exclusivity over raw volume growth.
