Paulin, Paulin, Paulin has partnered with music artists Fred again.. and Latin Mafia to create a bespoke installation featuring its iconic Dune seating system at Lago Algo in Bosque de Chapultepec, Mexico. The sculptural setup served as the central workspace for the artists while writing and recording their collaborative mixtape, 9 months & 50 hours.
Personally installed by Benjamin Paulin, the Dune modules established a fluid, open environment designed to foster conversation, movement, and spontaneous creation. The modular landscape was captured throughout an ongoing YouTube livestream documenting the making of the mixtape, naturally integrating Pierre Paulin’s design into the visual identity of the music project.
Originally designed by Pierre Paulin in 1970, the Dune system reimagined traditional furniture as an adaptable, borderless landscape rather than a set of fixed objects. Unproduced during the designer’s lifetime, the piece is now faithfully brought to life by Paulin, Paulin, Paulin in highly limited editions. By integrating the design into the artists’ Mexico studio retreat, the design house continues its ongoing dialogue with contemporary culture and modern artistic expression.
