Liverpool's 2021/22 Away Jersey Is a Tribute to the City
Dressed in “Stone White.”
After revealing a new home kit back in May, Liverpool and Nike have now come together to unveil the 2021/22 away jersey. For the upcoming season, Liverpool will wear a kit dressed in “Stone White” base, complete with colorful details that pay tribute to the club’s home city.
The “Stone White” color is lifted from Liverpool’s cult favorite 1996/97 away jersey, while the colorway is also a nod to The Three Graces, the historic buildings across the city’s skyline. Complementing the muted base color is a trim of dark green and a “Crimson” red band around the collar that links back to Liverpool’s signature home colors.
Speaking as the kit was unveiled, Liverpool’s Curtis Jones added, “I think the fans will love this one… It’s a perfect reflection of the city and you can see the inspiration throughout the design with a throwback to the ’90s.”
The Liverpool 2021/22 away jersey is available for Nike members now, and will launch at select retailers on July 15.
