The Notorious B.I.G. Is Honored in Collaborative WACKO MARIA Collection
Highlighting the artworks of ‘Born Again’ and ‘Life After Death’ on Hawaiian shirts, sweatshirts and more.
Following partnerships with big music names like Rage Against The Machine, Sublime and DJ HARVEY, WACKO MARIA is now paying respects to The Notorious B.I.G. with a collaborative collection.
The capsule includes a selection of Hawaiian shirts, T-shirts and heavyweight sweatshirts and honors the artwork of Biggie Smalls‘ first posthumous compilation album, Born Again, and the artwork of his final studio album Life After Death. The Hawaiian shirts, offered in white, green, black, purple and brown, feature the Born Again prints either maximized across the front or as an all-over pattern and accompanied by The Notorious B.I.G.’s name on the back. Several T-shirts and sweatshirts in black, maroon, green, grey and white also arrive with artwork in a simple yet classic style, while the Life After Death print is set in orange across plain black or white T-shirts.
The Hawaiian shirts are priced at ¥38,500 JPY to 39,700 JPY (approximately $350 USD to $360 USD), the sweatshirts at ¥20,000 JPY (approximately $180 USD) and the T-shirts at ¥9,900 JPY (approximately $90 USD). The Notorious B.I.G. x WACKO MARIA collab collection is available now via the official PARADISE TOKYO / WACKO MARIA ONLINE STORE and is set to release at the WACKO MARIA brick-and-mortar stores in the Isetan Shinjuku Men’s Building and WACKO MARIA HANKYU MEN’S TOKYO.
