Rapper-Producer Claims That Migos "Straightenin" Copied His Track
Striking similarities between “Magic Show 魔術表演” and the new single.

Shortly after debuting their first Culture III single “Straightenin” last month, Migos is now facing claims that they copied the track from a Hong Kong artist.
Independent rapper-producer Big Spoon recently posted on Instagram a comparison between his track “Magic Show 魔術表演” and “Straightenin.” Adding, “I composed and produced the song by myself, did all the rapping, and played all the instruments so there are no samples or loops taken from elsewhere. I tweaked their song to the same tempo and key for comparison.” Big Spoon claims that he produced “Magic Show 魔術表演” back in July 2020 and released the track officially in August of the same year.
Despite the striking similarities neither Migos or producers behind “Straightenin” DJ Durel, Atake, Sluzyyy, OSIRIS, Nuki and Slime Castro have addressed the claim just yet.
