Dubbed the Ellipse, the duo takes on Fukasawa’s signature design aesthetics with simple, clean dials and comes in the form of a chronograph and a time-only option. The former comes in a 45mm case and is powered by Seiko’s VD51 quartz movement with a small seconds at 12 o’clock and a minute indicator at 6 o’clock, while the latter measures in at a more modest 41mm and utilizes the Japanese watchmaker’s VJ21 movement for a minimalist three-hand option. Both are models are available in either a stainless steel case paired with a mesh band or a gold-plated variant coupled with a black calf leather strap.
There’s currently no pricing information for the two Naoto Fukasawa x Issey Miyake Ellipse timepieces yet, but they’ll be available on July 9. Head over to the company’s website to learn more.
Elsewhere in watches, Christie’s is auctioning Andy Warhol’s Patek Philippe Calatrava 570.
