Nike Celebrates KD and Kyrie's Friendship With This Nike KD 14 "Ky-D" Colorway
A playful colorway inspired by the Nike Kyrie 1 “Dream”.

Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving are two of the league’s most dominant players the game has ever seen, and it just so happens that they’re both roster members of the Brooklyn Nets and the Nike family. So to honor this All-Star teammate connection, the Swoosh team has crafted them a special Nike KD 14 “Ky-D” colorway.
The court-ready sneakers make use of the KD 14 silhouette as the canvas and the Kyrie 1 “Dream” for style inspiration — the first-ever installment that Uncle Drew launched with the Nike imprint on Christmas Eve back in 2014. The black and red color coordination from this iteration is translated onto this modernized take, the former of which covers the a majority of the base’s exterior graphics, Swooshes and laces while the latter bleeds onto the straps, KD branding on the tongues and the medial side’s forefoot checks. Multi-colored geometric patterns from Irving’s aforementioned pair are copied and pasted onto the underlays and tongues to spruce the KD 14 with a playful aesthetic. The Air Zoom Strobel midsoles are given a black background and contrasted with a yellow bar that’s seated at the middle. Outsoles round everything together with a bold red hue.
Nike Korea is set to release the KD 14 “Ky-D” on May 20, 2020 for ₩179,000 (approx. $158 USD). A stateside drop hasn’t been confirmed just yet.
