Drake Previews a NOCTA x Nike Hot Step Air Terra "Snakeskin" Colorway
The OVO emcee fashions his forthcoming model with scaly uppers.
While everyone awaits the release of Drake‘s highly anticipated Certified Lover Boy album, the Toronto native is dropping hints related to what he’s got up his sleeve from a product perspective with Nike. After unveiling his latest NOCTA x Nike “Cardinal Stock” collection, Billboard most recently named “Artist of the Decade” has now teased an early glimpse at his impending NOCTA x Nike Hot Step Air Terra “Snakeskin” colorway.
The kicks are wild in pattern but understated in terms of its colors. From front to back, the base layers and the throat are wrapped entirely in a gray snakeskin pattern, immediately evoking memories of his unreleased OVO x Air Jordan 11 “Snakeskin” PEs. The shoe laces and the exposed stitchings appear to be the only components of the upper that are absent of any animalistic sensibilities as they are fashioned with a simply white hue. Moving downwards, the midsoles arrive with a clean angelic finish and are married up with full gum outsoles.
There’s no word on an official release date for these collaborative kicks just yet, but it’s likely that Nike will release these sometime in the latter half in 2021.
