Kim Kardashian is officially the new owner of a piece of music history.

This past weekend, the reality star/businesswoman took to Instagram Stories to share that she has recently purchased Janet Jackson‘s iconic custom-made outfit from her 1993 “If” music video. The news comes just in time to celebrate Jackson’s 55th birthday this weekend.

Kardashian wrote on Instagram, “Happy birthday queen! For @janetjackson’s bday bc I’m such a fan I can’t believe I won this on juliens_auctions.” The entire fit features a cropped suede top with black lace-up pants, selling on Julien’s Auctions during its “Iconic Treasures From the Legendary Career and Life of Janet Jackson.” The auction was a three-day auction event that celebrated the icon’s birthday.

Jackson herself shared the excitement that Kim now owns a piece of the musical legend’s wardrobe, sharing her excitement on Instagram, “Thank u so much @kimkardashian! I hope ‘IF’ gives u as much pleasure as it did me.”

The “Iconic Treasures From the Legendary Career and Life of Janet Jackson” auction reportedly sold over 1,000 Jackson memorabilia, including her ensemble from the “Scream” music video, which sold for a final $125,000 USD. Jackson’s 1990 Rhythm Nation tour jacket and “1814” cap and black satin gloves raked in $81,250 USD.

Kardashian’s family has been no stranger to Jackson memorabilia. Her and Kanye West’s daughter North recently sported a jacket worn by Michael Jackson himself in 1997. The amount for the jacket was undisclosed to the public.

In other fashion news, Travis Scott will be honored by Parsons for his contributions to Design.
