Drake Named Artist of the Decade at 2021 Billboard Awards
The OVO head spent the last decade breaking chart records and earning nine No. 1 albums.

Drake is set to receive the prestigious Artist of the Decade Award at the forthcoming 2021 Billboard Music Awards.
The coveted prize ranks the best-performing artists based on their activity on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, the Billboard 200 chart, social media data and touring revenue from Billboard Boxscore during the period of December 5, 2009 to September 28, 2019. Billboard revealed that in addition to Drizzy holding the title for most Billboard Music Awards at 27 (setting the record for 12 wins in 2019), the OVO head scored a total of nine No. 1 albums on the Billboard 200, 33 top 10 entries on the Billboard Hot 100 and 18 No 1. songs and 69 top 10 entries on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart — all of them marking the most of the decade of any artist.
Drake was also named the only solo male artist with more than 50 career weeks at No. 1 on the Hot 100 and broke the chart record with 232 entries, 45 top 10s, 120 top 40 hits and 22 No. 1s and 84 top 10s on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart.
