Detailed Look at the adidas YEEZY BOOST 350 V2 "Light"
The new style boasts a UV-reactive upper.

It’s understandable that fans of Kanye West and adidas‘ YEEZY BOOST 350 V2 may think they’ve seen it all. Since the second iteration of West and the Three Stripes’ YEEZY BOOST 350 made its retail debut back in September 2016, we’ve seen dozens of colorways with everything from zebra stripes to reflective detailing, exoskeleton-like upper cages and gum soles. However, the adidas YEEZY line is in a constant state of reinvention — and the 350 V2 has appeared in an unparalleled new style dubbed “Light.”
What separates the “Light” from its bulbous, BOOST-filled counterparts is its UV-sensitive upper. Upon first glance, the “Light” appears to offer standard earthy YEEZY style — sandy stone Primeknit accented by yellow tinted heel tabs and midsoles — but under a UV light the tonal post-dyed monofilament side stripe shows a bright orange tone and a soft shade of red appears on the base. Apart from these signature details, the “Light” is completed by tonal rope laces and a red stamp on its insole.
adidas has yet to reveal an official release date for the YEEZY BOOST 350 V2 “Light,” but sneaker leaker repgod888 has indicated it’ll hit shelves on August 21. You can check out detailed on and off-foot images below, and expect the MSRP to be set at a standard $220 USD. Pairs are also available now via GOAT.
