Carl’s Jr. and Hardee's Introduce Ultra-Crispy Hand-Breaded Chicken Sandwiches
“Tender, juicy and fried to crispy golden-brown perfection.”
Carl’s Jr. and Hardee’s have pulled back the curtains on three soon-to-be summertime staples: the Hand-Breaded Chicken Sandwich, Hand-Breaded Chicken & Waffle Breakfast Sandwich and the Hand-Breaded Chicken Biscuit.
Carl’s Jr. and Hardee’s have been refining their hand-breaded goods for over a decade, selling more than 118 million Hand-Breaded Chicken Tenders each year on average; the three offerings are their newest extensions.
The Hand-Breaded Chicken Sandwich is “tender, juicy and fried to crispy golden-brown perfection,” notes a press release. It’s sandwiched between delicately toasted potato buns, finished off with a generous serving of mayonnaise and deli pickles. In contrast, the Hand-Breaded Chicken & Waffle Breakfast Sandwich comes with the same proteins but are served on Belgian waffles instead — Maple Butter Glaze tops the sandwich. Finally, the Hardee’s Hand-Breaded Chicken Biscuit, exclusive to Hardee’s, is served on the fast-food chain’s classic Made-from-Scratch buttermilk biscuit.
Both Hardee’s and Carl’s Jr.’s new offerings will be available as soon as May 17 across the U.S., from $4 – $6 USD.
