Deem Spencer Drops New "Wife Wife" Single and Video
The track’s accompanying visual shows Spencer and his real-life girlfriend enjoying a summer day in New York.
Queens, NY-based rapper and singer Deem Spencer has returned with a new single dubbed “Wife Wife” and its accompanying music video. Clocking in at just over three minutes, the track is a modern-day love ballad to a romantic interest, with a relaxing downtempo beat produced by Coachwave and a breezy vibe.
The video sees Spencer and his real life girlfriend enjoying a wholesome, full New York summer day while dressed in wedding attire. The two gleefully hop the turnstile to the subway, then get Citi Bikes and take a ride over the Williamsburg Bridge before spending time in Manhattan’s Lower East Side and finishing the day by relaxing in a park.
“Wife Wife” is Spencer’s first release since he dropped tracks like “Byke” and “Green Starter” on his SoundCloud in 2020, and also follows up his well-received Pretty Face mixtape from 2019, an offering that NPR said is “what love sounds like.”
