In spite of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, Asia’s 50 Best bars has announced their annual top choices. The bars chosen span across multiple regions across Asia, including Hong Kong, Singapore, Taipei, Shanghai, and Tokyo. The list was announced on May 6 via a virtual ceremony streamed online.
The ranking was based on the votes of Asia’s 50 Best Bars Academy members which comprised of some of the most well-traveled and knowledgeable people in the bar industry, drinks media and mixology experts across the continent. The list reflects the immense diversity of the drinking scene in Asia, including cocktail bars, backstreet speakeasies, whisky bars and sophisticated bar venues.
