To celebrate his latest GQ cover feature, A$AP Rocky sat down with the publication to look through some of his best and worst fashion moments.
Looking at some select outfits from 2012-2019, Flacko broke down his pieces and offered his thoughts on some of his most striking looks and now questionable pairings. To start off Rocky offered insight into his relationship with Hood By Air and Pyrex, now known as Off-White™. The rapper reveals that Virgil Abloh actually consulted the A$AP Mob about the name change after he was hit with a cease and desist from the actual Pyrex brand. Before touching on his part in bringing Air Force 1 Mids back into fashion.
Sticking to footwear A$AP Rocky revealed that he really only wears Air Jordan 1s and Air Jordan 4s citing that his choice is really just a “Harlem thing.” Also revealing that he wants to do a collaboration with all footwear brands but he is currently focused on an upcoming Vans collaboration.
Moving on Rocky shared that his interest in Goyard is because of Pharrell and NIGO, while his penchant for pink is indebted to Cam’ron with a lot of fashion sense picking up where The Diplomats left off.
