Louis Vuitton has returned to its LV Trainer for a selection of new colorways, updating the basketball-inspired sneaker for Spring/Summer 2021.

The silhouette, which Virgil Abloh launched with his Spring/Summer 2019 collection, is based on the shape of vintage basketball sneakers, and features a technical rubber sole injected with gel and finished with contrasting monogram flowers.

The new release sees the sneaker arrive in a number of contrasting colorways, including a mix of “Burgundy” and “Sunny Orange,” as well as green with yellow details and a blue and black design. Additionally, the capsule features three designs in suede leather and denim with neon pink and yellow shades as a nod to the ready-to-wear collection. The neon sneakers are complemented by sandals in the same colorways, each of which also features the LV Trainer’s sole unit.

Rounding out the pack are a string of eye-catching designs — including one covered entirely in pink rhinestones and another wrapped in silver — as well as a more subtle white and gray sneaker.

The first colorways are available now from the Louis Vuitton web store, with each subsequent release set to arrive in the near future.
