OMEGA Counts Down 100 Days Till Tokyo Olympics With Special Seamaster Diver 300m
The Swiss luxury watchmaker is the event’s official timekeeper.

With just 100 days to go until the Tokyo Olympics, OMEGA — the sporting event’s official timekeeper — is celebrating the count down with a special edition Seamaster Diver 300M.
Inspired by Japan and its capital city, the new timepiece pairs a deep blue bezel and matching indexes and hands with a pristine white dial laser-engraved with the Seamaster’s signature wave patterning. A welcome dash of contrast comes in the blue “Seamaster” lettering underneath the 12 o’clock position while a 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games emblem transfer adorns the sapphire crystal caseback, commemorating the momentous sporting event. Powering the watch itself is the in-house Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 8800, an impressive piece of engineering officially certified by the Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology. As an added touch, the timepiece also comes housed inside a special Olympic Games presentation box.
For those interested, OMEGA’s Seamaster Diver 300M Tokyo 2020 edition is now available for $5,600 USD. Head over to the company’s website to learn more.
Elsewhere in watches, Patek Philippe has released a new stainless steel Ref 4947 annual calendar.
