Jordan Brand is going all in with its Air Jordan 3 throughout 2021 as its racked up a collaboration with A Ma Maniére, revived its “Cool Grey” offering and even launched a Georgetown-inspired colorway. And this Summer, the Jumpman family is set to roll out yet another iteration of the Tinker-designed model — the Air Jordan 3 “Racer Blue”.
Revealed by way of official imagery, the silhouette somewhat channels the look of the AJ 3 “Sport Blue” that launched back in 2014, but arrives with flipped color schemes. Tumbled leather base layers and perforated mid-foot and lower throat panels opt to go with the classic white and light gray color-blocking. Reflective cement overlays that land along the toe tips and heels are dialed with dark gray tint, while the eyelets, tongue branding and Jumpman logos on the heels are swathed in the shoe’s titular shade. The midsoles which house an exposed Air unit towards the rear are offset with more “Racer Blue” accents that apply to the molds that rest just above.
No official announcements by Nike have been made yet regarding its launch date, but early reports have these scheduled for a July 10 release. Retail price will be $190 USD. If you don’t feel like waiting, pairs are available via GOAT now.
