Official Look at the Air Jordan 3 "Cool Grey"
Marking its first-ever retro release since its original launch in 2007.
Throughout the rest of the winter season, the team over at Jumpman is planning to stock the shelves with a diverse amount of new retro offerings, one being the classic Air Jordan 3 “Cool Grey”. Official images for this colorway have surface hot off the heels of the Air Jordan 1 Hi ‘85 “Natural Grey”.
For context, this won’t be the first time that the market has seen this neutral heavy AJ 3 colorway as it originally launched back in February 2007, and now 14 years later, the iteration is returning in all of its original glory.
To start out, its titular “Cool Grey” certainly beckons most of the attention here as it swathes the premium leather uppers, tongues and the backgrounds of the cement-printed overlays. Abutting this are slightly darker tints of grey which tumble onto the perforated panels seen through the throat, collars and heel molds, followed by “Sport Red” bursts which cover the Jumpman embellishments on the tongues and heels, in addition to the Air units down below. Furthermore, “Orange Peel” accents are sprinkled to the lower throat and heightened lace stays, as well as via the “Air” branding that adorns the lower heel.
Moving towards the bottom piece, the midsoles and outsoles alike go for the two-toned theme by conjoining white and graphite color-blocking.
This bring-back is scheduled to release on February 20 via Nike SNKRS and select retailers for $190 USD.
