New york-based brand Western Elders has released its Spring 2021 collection. Described by brand founder Jamal Braimah as “a physical representation of heritage, legacy, and culture” that’s inspired by his NYC upbringing and West African roots, Western Elders’ latest collection taps into its brand ethos by showcasing its new tees and sweats in a family-oriented lookbook.
Headlining the offerings are two colorways of the “Family Brand” tee — green and white — each of which features a full-color print of a smiling family above Western Elders text in a retro font. There’s also the “Unity Statues” tee, available in red and boasting a large yellow print of two ancient statues, next to which sits a graffiti-style Western Elders tag. Rounding off the succinct collection is the Playtime sweatpant in oatmeal, made of 100% French terry cotton for a soft feel, three pockets for storage and a brown/red Western Elders script logo embroidered on the left leg.
Tees are priced at $45 USD while the sweats arrive at $109 USD. Each piece is available now via the Western Elders webstore, as well as the brand’s network of stockists: Concepts, Extra Butter, Privilege and select New York Foot Locker locations.
