Delving into its archives as a source of continued inspiration, HH-118389225 returns for Spring/Summer 2021 with a capsule informed by Helly Hansen’s rich history of technical sailing apparel.

HH-118389225 code name “ARCHIVE” — a sub-line of Helly Hansen that embodies its extensive history — has honed in on the brand’s penchant for life vests, in particular its Sailsafe Inflatable and Rider pieces. Drawing on the innovative technologies that went into each original product, SS21 embraces the visual aesthetics, but also utilises its professional-grade fabrications, like the 3 layer shell technology, ultrasonic taped seams and attention whistles.

The HH OCEAN COAT features a concealed spray-hood and a raised cowl collar in line with the brand’s other sailing apparel, alongside a detachable bag which can be worn three ways on the jacket or removed for separate use. The HH SEAWAY JACKET — slightly different thanks to its 2 layer technical fabrication — boasts drain-able mesh pockets, reverse large scale map pockets and 3M reflective taping for heightened visibility.

The HH ocean VEST, which utilises elements of the Sailsafe Inflatable, packs neatly into an internal zipper, while — as has become typical of the line — internal infographics highlight the style’s versatility and history.

The Helly Hansen HH-118389225-211 collection is available to buy now via the Storm webstore.

In other news, Adsum heads out on the road for Spring/Summer 2021 collection.
