Take an Official Look at the Verdy x Nike SB Dunk Low "Wasted Youth"
The Japanese creative continues his partnership with the sportswear giant.
After being revealed at the end of 2020, we now have an official look at the Verdy x Nike SB Dunk Low “Wasted Youth.” Inspired by the artist’s relationship with punk and skate culture, the collaborative shoe is a representation of the ethos behind his Wasted Youth label.
The upper of the shoe expresses a black crust punk patchwork denim design accented by red stitching and a medial rose graphic that attaches to the Swoosh midfoot branding. Additional detailing comes in the form of “WASTED/YOUTH” embroidered on the heel tabs, co-branded tongue tags, silver-tone D-ring hardware and insoles printed with “NO THANK YOU I DON’T NEED YOUR SUPPORT” and “Don’t bother me anymore.” Rounding up the design of the shoe are padded tongues, Zoom Air assisted pure white midsoles paired with contrasting black rubber outsoles.
Priced at $110 USD, the Verdy x Nike SB Dunk Low “Wasted Youth” is set to release on Nike SNKRS and at select retailers April 6, 10 p.m. EST.
