Sandals, mules, clogs and any other footwear that comes built with easy-on-easy-off access are an instant hit right now given that much of the world is spending more time within the confines of their homes. And so to feed further into this upward trending movement, the sport sandal mavens at Teva are introducing a new silhouette as part of its SS21 rollout — the Hurricane Verge.

The model isn’t too unfamiliar to what we’ve seen from the footwear imprint before, but it does own a few constructional elements that allow it to stand on its own. Up top, these airy kicks bear crossover straps that are adjustable at several different locations, and feature a secure and comfortable fit thanks to its updated buckle.

Attached at the bottom is a semi-chunky and robust sole unit which is supported by the identical rugged EVA footbed as the classic Teva Hurricane XLT2.

Six colorways of the sandal have been unveiled for both men and women. Males have the option of choosing between black, a light grey and “Pine Needle”, while the ladies can cop the “Aragon”, in addition the more light and black offerings.

Check out a close-up look here above, and note that they are available now via Teva for $80 USD.

Previouly, Teva partnered up with Opening Ceremony for a handful of sandal collaborations.
