The New Balance 237 Gets Done up In Beige And Black
A clean colorway for NB’s retro-inspired lifestyle model.

New Balance‘s 237 has been on the market for less than a quarter of the year, but has already managed to make a splash with vivid in-line colorways and a Casablanca collaboration. Now, it’s continuing its rollout with an understated beige and black makeup.
Although the 237 is indeed a brand-new lifestyle silhouette, it’s inspired by heritage running shoes from the ’70s. Therefore, it supplies a traditional upper — one that overlays white mesh with supple beige suede on the mudguard, midfoot and heel. This duo of light tones is split by a bold black leather N logo on the quarter.
Further black branding graces the eggshell-colored heel tab and the exposed foam tongue’s fabric tag. The tongue tag also features interior branding, with New Balance’s “The Intelligent Choice” tagline printed on its inner half. Cream laces provide a pop of Instagram archive page-approved style. Down below, the look is completed by white EVA foam midsoles and black rubber outsoles that boast a wavy traction pattern with repeated New Balance hits.
This beige and black New Balance 237 will release at retailers like Overkill on March 17, and is priced at $85 USD.
