PORTER Brings Classic Color Combinations to Vault by Vans Collaboration
Mixing the Japanese label’s luggage heritage with Vans’ footwear design.

Vault by Vans has presented its latest collaboration, partnering with Japanese label PORTER for the first time ever. The collection — which encompasses footwear and bags — mixes key characteristics of both Vans and PORTER, known for its hard-wearing bags and use of bright orange detailing.
The signature orange tone features throughout the sidewall, including on the sockliner of all four silhouettes, as well as appearing on the the laces and removable sidestripe of others. Another common theme throughout is the use of a monochromatic “aloha/flora” print, which appears alongside the Vans checkerboard in the collection’s “Forest Night/Black” color palette.
Alongside the four silhouettes — including two OG Old Skool LX colorways along with an OG Classic Slip-On VLT LX and OG Sk8-Hi Reissue VLT LX — Vans and PORTER have also prepared a briefcase, wallet and luggage tag. This selection mixes the two brand’s influence as the checkerboard and aloha patterns sit alongside PORTER’s signature logo tag.
The PORTER x Vault by Vans collection is due to release at select retailers beginning on February 20.
