Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James has officially announced a multi-year partnership with Ruffles, the official chip of the NBA.

In the efforts to empower fans to continue to celebrate and embrace life’s obstacles, James stars in their latest Own Your Ridges initiative commercial. James reflects on the “ridges” that he has grown up with in Akron, Ohio, while sharing stories of his hardship with four other real-life people including a blind skateboarder, a single father, a female barber and a formerly incarcerated. All of these people have been able to find success despite enduring some of life’s greatest challenges.

Ruffles hope to empower underserved communities and spread the message to embrace the ridges. Ruffles and PepsiCo are donating $3 million USD over three years to the LeBron James Family Foundation to continue the work to uplift communities through education. To learn more, visit OwnYourRidges.
