Late Checkout FW21 Evokes Serious Wes Anderson Vibes
“The Bellboy: Chapter II” is only the Spanish label’s second release.
Following its debut “The Bellboy: Chapter I” collection earlier this year, Madrid-based label Late Checkout returns for its second drop of 2021, aptly entitled: “The Bellboy: Chapter II”.
Founded in 2019 by Antón Álvarez and Alex Turrión, the brand was born following a life of travel, hotels, long working days and longer parties, eventually leading to the brand’s now-mantra: “Late Checkout issa lifestyle”.
For Fall/Winter 2021, the brand continues to tell the story of its character The Bellboy, with a campaign that transports onlookers back to the 1970s, with notes from Wes Anderson’s universe, David Hockney and the quotidian scenes represented in Robert Colescott’s art.
From knitwear and outerwear, to sweats, legwear and shirting, “The Bellboy: Chapter II” is an eclectic capsule that’s playful with graphics and its accompanying campaign, yet stylish and relevant in its detailed execution.
The full collection — which is set to drop on November 12 — will be available from the Late Checkout webstore.
