Childish Gambino and Ariana Grande Rumored to Appear on 'An Evening With Silk Sonic'
After album host Bootsy Collins tagged them in an Instagram post promoting the record.
Donald Glover/Childish Gambino and Ariana Grande could be two guest artists on An Evening With Silk Sonic, Silk Sonic’s forthcoming debut album hosted by Bootsy Collins.
Rumors of the pair’s involvement hit the internet when Collins took to Instagram to share a photo of two kids dressed up as Anderson .Paak and Bruno Mars — the duo that makes up Silk Sonic — and tagged Gambino and Grande in the original caption:
”Hey @brunomars & @anderson._paak I thought we were going to use the “Time Machine” after Nov.12th, once the Album’s released?! No worries, it’s already Nov.13th where I’m from, I got a lot of ur Fan’s with me waiting on ur arrival. Get ur Order’s in Silk-fa-Soni-Cations! Let’s Go! Bootsy baby!!! @arianagrande @24k.brunomars_ @donaldglover”
Collins eventually removed the usernames of Grande and Glover, but fans managed to take screenshots of the two captions to compare. Neither Silk Sonic nor Grande and Glover have confirmed the news.
An Evening With Silk Sonic is set to release on November 12.
