Preview of the Off-White™ x Nike Air Force 1 Mid
Virgil reimagines the lifestyle model with gridded straps, white uppers and distorted sole units.

Virgil Abloh has a penchant for taking a classic Nike or Jordan Brand silhouette and flipping its appearance in a way that still keeps the elements of its iconic heritage but shows off his unique design language. And just before his forthcoming Air Jordan 2 collaborations with pre-crumbled midsoles make their way into the market, the streetwear/luxury designer is already previewing more of what’s to come, one of the pieces being the Off-White™ x Nike Air Force 1 Mid.
As of now, we only have a single vantage point of the kicks from its medial side, but we can already see that the shoes are jam packed with interesting details. A majority of the upper half is done up in white synthetic and features vertical streak patterns that run across the toe boxes, quarters and collars. Layered on top of the mid-foot comes two circular grey pods where its second set of laces loop through, along with translucent Swooshes and ankle straps that are decorated with black gridlock patterns. The standard Off-White™ branding in Helvetica font is slapped onto the medial wall in black and the heels are supported with a white mold.
Midsoles have been given a slightly curvier format, while the treading comes distorted in shape and features three-toned awkwardly-shaped blocks on the mid-foot and toe tips that are ornamented with pink, green and blue accents.
No release date has surfaced at this time, but you can likely expect more information around these to pop up in the coming months.
