Levi's Enlists Verdy for Wasted Youth and Girls Don't Cry Capsule Collections
The two-part drop features a worker’s jacket, a trucker jacket, overalls, and a pair of 701 jeans.

Authenticity drives both Levi’s and Verdy‘s work, so it makes perfect sense that the two have come together once more on a collection that honors both of the latter’s brands: Wasted Youth and Girls Don’t Cry.
Previously, Wasted Youth and Levi’s produced a pair of customized 501 jeans. This time around, the brand draws from its skate and punk inspirations to create its take on the utilitarian worker’s jacket, which comes in black alongside a white embroidered Wasted Youth logo on the chest and a tulip graphic on the back with a collaborative Wasted Youth-meets-Levi’s logo. The signature Levi’s brown tab appears on the interior neckline, while a brassy-looking zipper rounds out the piece.
For Girls Don’t Cry’s effort, Verdy and Levi’s create a pair of 701 jeans — Verdy’s wife’s favorite style, which is apt considering Girls Don’t Cry is an ode to his wife — as well as a pair of bright red corduroy overalls and a matching trucker jacket. Girls Don’t Cry’s cursive logo is embroidered onto both of the red pieces — notably adding branding to the collar of the jacket and the rear neckline of the overalls — while the Levi’s brown tab on the jeans is now accompanied by a love heart and, on the opposite side, Girls Don’t Cry embroidery in red.
The unisex capsule collection is captured in a campaign and video that was shot on a ranch in L.A., drawing from vintage Levi’s advertisements. Dropping in two parts, the Wasted Youth jacket drops today on the Levi’s app and in select countries online, while the Girls Don’t Cry drop will come on October 28 in select stores, on the app, and online.
