October is now winding down to its final days, as as anticipation over the fun-filled Halloween weekend starts to generate, sneaker brands are once again back to supply your footwear rotation with a smooth assemblage of new launches. We’re going to find imprints like Jordan Brand, Nike and adidas releasing a ton of new kicks this week, but before we touch on those, let’s first summarize all of the biggest highlights that arose over the last week.

For the newest installment of HYPEBEAST’s Sole Mates series, we had the chance to chop it up with Steelo Brim of MTV’s Ridiculousness to talk about his hometown Chicago and his affinity for the Joe Freshgoods x New Balance 992 “No Emotions Are Emotions.” Nike had plenty of items to unpack last week as it officially unveiled its “Navy/Red” SB Dunk High “By Any Means” colorway with Supreme, showed off a closer look at the COMME des GARÇONS HOMME PLUS x Nike Air Foamposite One in white and announced its footwear and apparel capsule for Día De Muertos. Jordan Brand, as per usual, struck up some exciting news as it showed off a special 1-of-1 Air Jordan 1 Low “Baltimore Crab” colorway for Carmelo Anthony, officially revealed the Air Jordan 1 Element GORE-TEX in “Light Bone” and provided an in-depth look at the upcoming Air Jordan 1 High OG “Rebellionaire” colorway.

adidas was pretty active on the news front as well as Kanye West‘s all-new YZY NSLTD BT was unveiled in a “Khaki” colorway, Limited Edt was recruited by the Three Stripes to craft a 30th Anniversary EQT Race Walk, IVY Park teased its inaugural range with adidas and Peloton and Mark Suciu’s latest adidas Skateboarding Gazelle ADV popped up.

In terms of other brands, COMME des GARÇONS‘ dropped its collaboration with Salomon Sportstyle, HAVEN applied a technical upgrade to the Vault by Vans OG Lampin VLT LX and FILA threw it back to Grant Hill’s iconic Sprite Ad by dropping a special-edition footwear and apparel assortment.

Did you get you all caught up? Great. Check out this week’s top 10 release below, and be sure to peep a look at HBX for more footwear styles.

Nike Air Force 1 Mid Jewel “NYC Cool Grey”

Release Date: October 28
Release Price: $95 USD
Where to Buy: SNKRS
Why You Should Cop: When it comes to the Air Force 1, there’s arguably no other city in the world that reps this silhouette harder than New York. In the early 90s and 2000s, cool grey AF1s were trendy in the streets of the Big Apple, and so to honor its rich history, the Swoosh family has fashioned a brand new Air Force 1 Jewel model that’s done up with an “NYC Cool Grey” motif. The two-toned makeup features the Nike’s signature “NYC” logo atop the tongues, insoles and ankle straps and heels to emphasize its east coast heritage.

Billie Eilish x Air Jordan 15

Release Date: October 28
Release Price: $225 USD
Where to Buy: SNKRS
Why You Should Cop: As Billie Eilish ascended into the top ranks of pop music and culture, she was often spotted rocking a pair of Jordans with her oversized, street and somewhat wacky fashion sense. And as a fan of sneakers her entire life, it was only going to be a matter of time before one major Sportswear brand lured her into its family, and that just so happens to be Jordan Brand. She’s already dropped both her Air Jordan 1 KO and Air Jordan 15 colorways, but the latter is now gearing up for its next SNKRS launch.

Air Jordan 1 High Zoom CMFT “Gold Laser”

Release Date: October 28
Release Price: $190 USD
Where to Buy: SNKRS
Why You Should Cop: Sneakerheads tend to only gravitate towards OG Jordan silhouettes when it comes to Jordan Brand releases, but they definitely turned some heads once they made the Air Jordan 1 High Zoom CMFT. This is probably because it has the general shape of the Air Jordan 1, and it’s come out with several striking collaborations. However, to close out the month, the model has taken on a new “Gold Laser” theme that not only gives the model a refreshing makeover, but an elevated one.

UNDERCOVER x sacai x Nike LDWaffle

Release Date: October 29
Release Price: $170 USD
Where to Buy: SNKRS and sacai
Why You Should Cop: Chitose Abe has been going berserk this Summer/Fall with her sacai x Nike collaborations, and after dropping collections with the likes of CLOT and fragment design, she’s now transitioning to her newest three-way capsule with UNDERCOVER. “Black/Bright Citron,” “Night Maroon/Team Royal” and “Midnight Spruce/University Red” colorways are on the way, all of which keep the model’s double-layered motif and come uniquely branded on the backside of the lipped out midsoles.

Nike Air Force 1 “SiEMPRE Familia”

Release Date: October 29
Release Price: $110 USD
Where to Buy: SNKRS
Why You Should Cop: As usual, Nike is continuing its cultural traditions by celebrating Día de Muertos with a brand new footwear collection. There’s a duo of colorways involved in this assemblage, one of which is the Swoosh’s Air Force 1 “SiEMPRE Familia.” The Nike team doesn’t hold back on the details here as the Swoosh logos are whipped up with intricate embroidery and the overlays are designed with abstract debossed patterns and bold orange exteriors.

Air Jordan 1 Mid “SiEMPRE Familia”

Release Date: October 29
Release Price: $125 USD
Where to Buy: SNKRS
Why You Should Cop: For this year’s Día de Muertos festivities, Jordan Brand has elected to participate and launch a detail-heavy Air Jordan 1 Mid colorway. Uppers are furnished with jaguar-inspired print on the overlays, and come seated adjacent to Swooshes that have shaped to resemble an arrow. Additionally, the kicks are styled with tooth-like details that erect out of the toe boxes and “SiEMPRE Familia” branding across the tongues to further echo its theme.

adidas YEEZY FOAM RNNR “Vermillion”

Release Date: October 30
Release Price: $80 USD
Where to Buy: adidas and Yeezy Supply
Why You Should Cop: The all-red aesthetic is something that is often associated with Kanye West/ We’ve seen it on his iconic “Red October” Air Yeezy 2s with Nike, his monochromatic suit when he performed at the 2015 GRAMMYs and his Akira-inspired look at the first-ever DONDA listening party. And now that he’s signed with adidas, he’s delivering this energy for the first-time ever on the highly-revered adidas YEEZY FOAM RNNR for a brand new “Vermillion” colorway.

Nike SB Dunk Low “Mummy”

Release Date: October 30
Release Price: TBC
Where to Buy: Concepts
Why You Should Cop: Halloween is only a handful of days away, and while you might still be thinking about what to dress up as, Nike SB is 10 steps ahead as it has given its iconic SB Dunk Low a fresh “Mummy” costume. The base layers are outfitted with off-white canvas uppers, distressed seams, zig-zag stitch details and mummy eyes that are located on the heels. Additionally, the shoes come bolstered with glow-in-the-dark Swooshes to further speak to the aura of spooky season.

Air Jordan 3 “Pine Green”

Release Date: October 30
Release Price: $190 USD
Where to Buy: SNKRS and Foot Locker
Why You Should Cop: Player exclusives are often given to Jordan Brand-sponsored colleges such as the University of Oregon every year. And while these aren’t ever really available to the public, Jordan Brand will typically try and meet its consumers half way by dropping retro installments that come close in appearance. That’s certainly the case of the Air Jordan 3 “Pine Green”, one of the Jumpman’s latest colorways that comes somewhat close to a “Black Cement” makeup but features Duck-inspired accents of green and yellow throughout the upper and the midsoles.

adidas YEEZY 500 “Clay Brown”

Release Date: October 30
Release Price: $200 USD
Where to Buy: adidas and Yeezy Supply
Why You Should Cop: For those who have followed along the journey of Kanye West and his clothing/footwear designs, you’ll notice that neutral and earthy tones tend to be a reoccurring theme. And that is certainly the case for his newest iteration of the adidas YEEZY 500 “Clay Brown.” The uppers and the sole units are both equally treated with the shoes’ nominal shade and a charcoal gray hue which makes the kicks not only versatile, but extremely appropriate to rock throughout the Fall/Winter seasons.
