Collaborations continue to be pumped out in serious numbers from the ASICS imprint, and after teaming up with Tremaine Emory‘s Denim Tears brand for a two-pronged GEL-MC PLUS collection, it’s now reconnecting with Brain Dead for a new project. This newest team-up involves a wild take atop the ASICS TRABUCO MAX and is titled the “BD Chaos Slime” colorway. This collab follows up its three-way GEL-Fratelli release with Kiko Kostadinov that hit the market in August.

As expected, Brain Dead supplies the silhouette with a wild makeover. Uppers of this chunky runner certainly play into the chaotic theme and have been whipped up with an alien-esque all-over pattern that shimmers in a muted green hue. Heel tabs and the tiger stripes that appear on the lateral and medial sides are filled in with a muted burgundy hue, while the rope-like laces have been swathed in a volt green. Stark black midsoles — which are stuffed with a substantial amount of FlyteFoam for a cloud-like ride — almost channel the look of a tire, and these come stacked above treading that’s decorated with marbled patterns throughout.

You can expect these to release early at Brain Dead’s Haunted House and Mutated event in LA on October 7, but they will officially drop on October 12 via Brain Dead and globally on October 30.

In other sneaker news, ASICS recently revealed its classic GEL-LYTE III in all-gray.
