Following their initial reveal at Paris Fashion Week in June, Brain Dead and Crocs’ collaboration is officially releasing today. Arriving in two distinct footwear models, the project reimagines the casual Echo II and the trail-ready Trailbreak 2 with nature-inspired motifs and unexpected, subversive details.
The Echo II wraps its exoskeleton silhouette in a custom organic graphic print, complemented by a comfortable LiteRide footbed and a custom silicone-printed heel strap. A purple and black color scheme sets the tone, while playful 3D snail Jibbitz charms add a distinctly whimsical touch. Meanwhile, the collaborative Trailbreak 2 takes a technical approach, featuring a deep green mesh upper paired with a translucent silicone overlay and footbed logo prints. This iteration also introduces a marbled EVA midsole, complete with white paint swirls for added graphic flair.
