Summary

  • Coach taps Brain Dead for a collaborative capsule collection that blends Tokyo street style, vintage sportswear and theme park-inspired souvenirs
  • Key pieces include customized Tabby bags, gingham dresses, moto jackets and mascot-themed accessories
  • Launching globally on May 29, 2026

Coach and Brain Dead have partnered up for a capsule collection, bringing together America’s House of Leather and the Los Angeles-based creative collective in a playful, culture-driven collaboration. To introduce the collection, a surprise 80-second flash runway show featuring 14 looks unexpectedly disrupted an immersive, theme park-inspired launch event held in New York’s Meatpacking District.

Conceived by Coach Creative Director Stuart Vevers and Brain Dead co-founder Kyle Ng, the collaboration draws heavy inspiration from Tokyo street style, collectible souvenir culture and the imagined merchandise of a fictional amusement park. The core design language applies a 1990s interpretation to 1970s silhouettes, blending a nostalgic, playful and spontaneous spirit with Coach’s heritage of craft and self-expression.

Among the lineup, leather goods highlight Coach’s heritage while embracing Brain Dead’s irreverent sensibility. The iconic Tabby bag is reimagined with crocheted charms, puff details and embossed mascot patches, while jacquard bags in vibrant pink, purple and green feature oversized graphics of mascot characters Kachi, Xer and Zilly.

Accessories extend the playful theme with collectible vinyl charms, sticker packs, button sets, and even a souvenir lunchbox and cup, reinforcing the imagined amusement park narrative. The Coach x Brain Dead capsule collection will launch globally on May 29, 2026, available at both Coach and Brain Dead‘s online and offline stores.
