Chopard Brings Bamford Onboard For Limited Edition Mille Miglia Chronograph
Classic chronograph gets a modern makeover courtesy of George Bamford.
Chopard has appointed Bamford Watch Department (BWD) as its co-driver for a new Mille Miglia limited edition chronograph.
Chopard Co-President Karl Friedrich Scheufele brought Bamford onboard to offer a contemporary take on the Mille Miglia template, which given its association with classic cars, tends towards the traditional.
The 42mm stainless steel case has been bead-blasted and treated with Diamond-Like Carbon (DLC) for a matte black finish, while a dark grey and flame orange color scheme has been used for the dial. A Cordura-effect rubber strap with contrasting orange stitching and orange calfskin lining completes the look.
Just 33 of the Chopard Mille Miglia Bamford Edition chronographs will be made, referencing the 33 years that Chopard has sponsored the iconic Italian vintage car rally.
The watch is available now via Chopard, priced $7,970 USD or Bamford Watch Department in the UK, priced £6,950 GBP.
