Angelus U53 Is the Titanium Flying Tourbillon You Can Take Diving
Only 25 of the $42,800 USD watch are being made.

Angelus has dropped a limited edition titanium dive watch housing a one-minute flying tourbillon.
While tourbillons rarely feature in tool watches, Angelus has made it a signature since being relaunched by Swiss movement house La Joux-Perret in 2011.
The U53 features a 46mm case made of grade 5 titanium that is water resistant to 300m, which it pairs with both a green rubber strap and a hand-stitched khaki fabric strap giving the watch a military feel.
Angelus picks up the green from the straps on its unidirectional inner rotating bezel which carries an elapsed minutes scale and is adjusted using the screw down crown at the two o’clock position. The main crown at the four o’clock is used to adjust the time and wind its manual A-300 skeleton movement while a helium escape value is present at the nine o’clock.
The U53, a 25-piece limited edition, is available now via Angelus retailers, priced $42,800 USD.
