Nanushka SS22 Is a Lesson in Modern Elegance
Inspired by designer Sandra Sandor’s upbringing in Budapest.
This Spring/Summer 2022 season, Nanushka‘s collection, titled Harmónia, seeks to bring together an eclectic range of design motifs and references for a collection that is heavily inspired by the designer, Sandra Sandor’s Budapest upbringing.
Finding the beauty amongst juxtaposition has been a long-standing theme amongst Nanushka collections. This season sees contemporary materials meet traditional hand-crafted techniques utilized on comfort-focused and relaxed silhouettes. Intricate embroidery through upcycled patchwork, as well as cut-out shapes and tubular tie details draped upon slip satin shapes, have become a prominent fixture in this season’s lookbook.
This collection combines the modern sensual aesthetic with functionality and luxury. Bold colors make a statement throughout the lookbook, focusing on shades of green, blue and lilac satin styled tastefully at the collars or cuffs of shirts. Boxy blazers paired with fitted tops and flared trousers are the basis of the modern elegant silhouette.
