These Patchwork Boots From Acne Studios Are for the Modern Cowboy

Acne Studios creative director Johnny Johannson has revealed a new patchwork leather ankle boot alongside the brand’s Fall/Winter 2021 collection that illustrates a playful approach to fusing dress notes.
Crafted from a patchwork of shadowy blue-black calf leather suede with distressed tied knot detailing on the welt, the boots offer a modern take on a western-inspired silhouette. Additionally, the boots feature a side zipper closure and a dark brown crepe rubber wedge outsole.
“This is a wardrobe that brings together the relaxed silhouette of sports casual with the tailored glamour from my dream of life in a band,” said Johannson. “It is menswear that is functional and minimal, with humor, sexiness, and lightness.”
