Aside from its Food & Beverage venture NUDAKE, South Korea’s GENTLE MONSTER imprint has also developed its own cosmetics brand. Dubbed “tamburins,” the fledgling name expresses a sophisticated interpretation of art and beauty. Launched back in 2017, tamburins already has standout products like the NUDE H.AND CREAM, PERFUME HAND SANITIZER, PERFUMED BODY EMULSION and MOOD PERFUME.
Investigating the concept of scent, the in-house perfumers and creatives of tamburins have created innovative ways of carrying scents with sophisticated formulas that focus on smooth and healthy skin. Continuing its exploration and experimentation, tamburins has introduced its “THE SHELL Perfume Hand” line. The quick-absorbing cream-type perfume can be applied to repair dry and fragile hands with its nutrient-rich formulation. Marked by a subtle fragrance, the fresh and non-sticky texture of THE SHELL Perfume Hand leaves skin both bright and moisturized.
Available in eight distinct scents, each olfactory creation seeks to awaken our innermost senses with a defined identity and purpose of being. Concoctions include 000 (Bergamot, Patchouli, Sandalwood), FEAR (Hard soil and root, Grapefruit, Fresh air), FLOW (Sandalwood, Subtle leather scent, Spicy), BLESSED (Blackberry, Citrus, Fruity fragrance), HER (Cedar, Violet leaf, Citrus), POSY (Rose bushes, Patchouli, Wet soil), VEIN (Laurel leaf, Lily of the valley, Neat leather) and FEY9 (Fig tree, Ambrette seed, Sweet bitterness).
Priced at ₩14,000 and ₩32,000 KRW (approximately $13 and $29 USD), the THE SHELL Perfume Hand is available in 15 mL and 40 mL online, at tamburins’ Gangnam-gu Flagship, Shinsegae Duty Free and Dover Street Parfums Market.
