Gentle Monster Readies Opening of NUDAKE Dessert Shop Seoul Flagship
The South Korean eyewear name looks to expand its Food & Beverage operations.
With locations already in Shanghai and Beijing, Gentle Monster‘s artistic dessert brand, NUDAKE, is now readying the opening of its first-ever flagship location in Seoul. Late last year, the South Korean eyewear name’s Food & Beverage venture offered a sneak peek of the sweet offerings set to be introduced at the new cafe location.
Serving as its first retail location in Gentle Monster’s home ground of Seoul, the brand looks to deliver “never-before-seen gourmet pastries and treats” that build on the conceptual aesthetics of its parent company. Situated in Apgujeong’s HAUS DOSAN, a building spanning five floors of the dessert label’s cafe, along with Gentle Monster and its cosmetics brand tamburins.
Standout items found on the menu include the Peak Cake (a black pastry crust filled with rich matcha cream), the Pine Cone (a white four-tier cake in the shape of a pine tree) and the Fog Cake (a treat covered with black-to-white gradient coloring).
