Nike Believed to Scrap OverBreak SP "Fossil" Over Mars Yard Resemblance
Painting over it and releasing as the “College Grey” colorway.

Thanks to the r/Sneakers community on Reddit and customizers Volt.66 Studio, we are now theorizing that Nike has scrapped the drop of the OverBreak SP “Fossil.”
Originally set to release in Asia earlier this month with a wider global release to follow, the NikeCraft Mars Yard-like colorway is believed to be canceled due to its resemblance to Tom Sachs‘ coveted collaboration.
Sneakerheads examing the OverBreak SP “College Grey” that released pointed out some similar qualities found on the shoe, leading to some getting to work. Volt.66 Studio put together a two-part video sharing its process of removing what appears to be a coating on the shoe that revealed defining elements of the OverBreak SP “Fossil.” Further adding to theories that Nike decided to scrap the similar-looking OverBreak SP colorway as it is in the midst of releasing the NikeCraft Mars Yard 2.5.
