Stüssy and Nike Kick off 2021 With Insulated and Upcycled Apparel Collaboration
Recycled Nike textiles and eco-friendly down filling.
On the heels of another strong footwear collaboration, Stüssy has reunited with Nike for another covetable joint effort. Comprising a trio of upcycled and insulted garments, the apparel capsule is packed with thoughtful details.
A pullover hoodie, skirt and pants are all on hand for this drop, crafted from translucent ripstop that utilizes at least 75% recycled nylon that Nike reclaimed from waste products ranging from carpeting to used fishing nets. These wares are further elevated by Thermore EcoDown, which replaces traditional feather down with recycled polyester that can both regulate temperature and resist water and wind alike.
Graphic appeal is achieved by way of contrasting black Nike and Stüssy branding and a special gradient green print that offsets the pale tone that appears throughout. Finally, snap buttons and adjustable pullcords match the militaristic motif presented by the structural, shapely silhouettes.
Expect the new Nike collaboration to hit Stüssy’s website, select Chapter stores and Dover Street Market outposts across the globe on January 29.
This collaborative drop follows a string of strong offerings from Stüssy, including its first Spring 2021 delivery and collaborative Magic 8 Ball toy.
