Tom Sachs Spotted Wearing NikeCraft Mars Yard 2.5 With ACG Sole Unit
Fitted with rugged details all around.

Speculations surrounding a new Tom Sachs x NikeCraft Mars Yard collaboration have been ruminating for some time, with a pared-down version and the news of a wear test surfacing as of late. Now, Mr. Sachs has been spotted wearing another iteration of the supposed NikeCraft Mars Yard 2.5 — something that was previously seen on his feet at a distance — giving us a closer look at the ACG-equipped sneaker.
As seen in @wesoldout‘s Instagram images and video (which you can watch below), the new model features original elements such as the earthy-toned suede upper with mesh mid-panel and toe box components, and combines this with the rubberized toe cap as seen on previous teasers. The toe box cap is reminiscent of a workwear boot, an aesthetic that’s accentuated by the toe’s noduled sole unit detailing.
The sole unit in question is provided by the Nike All Conditions Gear division, also known as ACG. On the heel, the shoe has been debossed with “Nike React Flyplate,” nodding to new hardwearing technology embedded in the sole unit. Given its ACG credentials, the rubber toe cap, the grippy outsole (which features a semi-translucent mid-section), and the rugged details such as the metal eyelets, the new model is sure to be more capable in tough conditions, as per the ACG line.
