Air Jordan 1 High Zoom CMFT Surfaces in "Sail"
The airy style boasts a sporty mesh Swoosh and a special Zoom graphic on its insole.
By taking the beloved build of the Air Jordan 1 and modifying it for the modern day, Jordan Brand‘s Air Jordan 1 High Zoom CMFT has managed to achieve a rare distinction: it’s one of the few updated takes on a classic silhouette to find favor with Air Jordan purists. Now, its roll is continuing with a new women’s-only “Sail” colorway that combines a simple color scheme with some striking details.
As its nickname would indicate the “Sail” features an off white-toned upper, one that’s constructed of premium tumbled leather. This is contrasted by a sporty soft gray mesh material that’s used on the recessed midfoot Swooshes and the tongue. Mesh is also present up top, providing trim around the collar’s exposed foam construction. This collar is further accented by mostly unstitched flaps with a debossed ball-and wings logo.
A vivid dash of flair is provided by a bright neon yellow tongue tag with black Zoom Air branding, and if you peer into the insole you’ll see an interesting stamp that nods to the shoe’s full-foot Zoom Air cushioning unit. Down below, white midsoles and soft peach-toned outsoles round off the look.
Though it was first teased all the way back in November 2020, the Air Jordan 1 High Zoom CMFT “Sail” is set to release via Nike SNKRS Korea on February 2 and is priced at $140 USD. A North American release will likely follow in the coming weeks as well.
