Continuing its commitment to sustainability and delivering more conscious menu items, Starbucks has announced the introduction of new plant-based food and beverage options in select markets across Asia.
Catering to the growing number of flexitarian diets around the world, the coffee chain will be launching two new seasonal plant-based handcrafted beverages this month. Available in hot and cold, the Oatmilk Cocoa Macchiato and Almondmilk Hazelnut Latte hitting store menus in select markets focus on alternative milk varieties that offer depth in flavor profiles with a creamy finish.
Accompanying plant-based food choices are also set to arrive in Hong Kong, New Zealand, Singapore, Taiwan and Thailand. However, some options will include dairy ingredients. Some standouts include Hong Kong’s Maize Impossible Sandwich and Spiced Impossible Puff, New Zealand’s Mince & Cheese Pie, Taiwan’s Beyond Meat Bolognese Penne and the Beyond Meat Sandwich in Thailand.
