Starbucks Japan and BEAMS return with the CORE Collection, their latest fashion-meets-coffee collaboration

The lineup spans a black denim capsule, logo apparel, and a wide range of coffee-ready accessories

A launch-day event brings baristas and BEAMS staff together to walk through the collection

Starbucks Japan and BEAMS are continuing their STARBUCKS STAND by BEAMS partnership with the CORE Collection, a lifestyle-driven lineup built around gender-neutral basics that move easily between a coffee shop and everyday wear. The collection folds apparel and accessories into one release, leaning on simple, foundational pieces rather than seasonal statement design.

The apparel side centers on a black denim capsule, a jacket, a coverall, and pants all cut from the same dark wash, positioned as the collection’s most directional pieces. Around that anchor sits a run of logo-driven basics: ringer T-shirts in heather blue and heather beige, zip hoodies and sweatpants in oatmeal, green, and brown, crew sweatshirts in the same tri-color range, and a light blue Oxford shirt. BEAMS contributes its own exclusive chino pants in beige, brown, and olive, rounding out a wardrobe built for repeat wear rather than one-off statement pieces.

The goods side leans further into the collection’s coffee-shop framing. Stainless steel TO GO bottles come in six colorways, while PVC pouches, shopper totes in two sizes, and canvas logo totes cover carrying needs across clear and patterned finishes. Smaller accessories round out the range: coffee cherry bandanas, DRINK-ID socks, 6-panel logo caps, a synthetic leather drawstring bag, a craft paper cooler bag, logo utility aprons, hand towels, and a jacquard throw blanket, alongside a Starbucks card case.

STARBUCKS STAND by BEAMS has built its identity around blending coffee culture with fashion retail, a pairing that leans on BEAMS’ long-running role as one of Japan’s most influential fashion and lifestyle curators. The CORE Collection continues that approach, treating Starbucks’ own visual language, from its logo to its coffee-cherry motifs, as the basis for wardrobe staples rather than one-off merchandise. That framing carries into the collection’s launch, with a live showcase on release day pairing baristas with BEAMS staff to walk through the collection’s appeal in person.

The CORE Collection launches September 18, available via the Starbucks Japan official online store and select BEAMS locations in Yokohama, Shinjuku Tokyo, and Umeda Osaka.
