adidas and OAMC Unveil Boisterous FW20 Footwear Collection
An eloquent mix of synthetic and natural materials.

adidas and OAMC have unveiled its Fall/Winter 2020 footwear lineup. Following the collaborative Type O-4 and Type O-5 silhouettes from last month, the two labels have introduced the Type O-8, alongside a brand new rendition of the Type O-5. Each style was inspired by the lightweight, hi-tech designs that starkly contrast synthetic and natural materials for a bold hybridized look.
The Type O-8 sneaker is a clean take on the time-honored Samba. adidas’ logo is stamped at the top of the tongue, followed by a set of tonal laces and a suede-tinged toecap. “OAMC” is placed at the sidewalls, complemented by ripstop-lined Three Stripes branding that’s etched with jagged top-stitching. Sleek leather uppers cover the rest of the body, finished off by a semi-translucent midsole.
Sporting a trail running-inspired design is the Type O-5. The shoe comes with a sleek mold, built with breathable mesh, ripstop and contrasting rubber overlays. Accented with an artisanal edge, the shoe’s forefoot is detailed with tonal top-stitching around the laces, while finely textured suede appears along the heel and toebox. Other details like the large rubber panel at the rear quarter and an articulated midsole round off the technical design.
adidas and OAMC’s Fall/Winter 2020 collection is currently available on OAMC’s website, ranging from $257 – $309 USD.
